Seth Godin’s quality control self-check

In a recent post, Seth Godin asks his readers to examine their potential output with their real output with the question “is it worthy?”. Especially applicable in education, where students deserve our very best and teacher consistently rationalize mediocre work.

For the teacher, I would add “I’ve spent countless hours in college classes and professional development, read websites and books, talked with other teachers, and poured over the curriculum. Is this the best lesson I can deliver?”
